USE

1. Open the lid of the appliance, and use the glass jug to add the required amount of water to the

water reservoir. Do not exceed the maximum mark.

2. Insert a paper lter into the removable lter.

3. Add the desired amount of coee to the lter and move the water discharge tube so that it is

positioned above the lter. Close the lid.

4. Insert the glass carafe horizontally into the coee maker. Put it on the keep-warm plate, under the

drip stop.

5. Plug the power cord into the outlet and press the on/o button. The indicator light will light up and

the coee maker will start brewing. You can remove the carafe from the coee maker at any chosen

time for a maximum of 30 seconds to pour coee. The appliance will stop dripping automatically.

6. The coee is ready about one minute after the coee stops dripping from the appliance.

7. The nal amount of coee will always be a little less than the amount of water you put in, because

the coee absorbs water.

8. Be careful while pouring, the coee is hot right after brewing.

9. For safety reasons it is considered wise to keep the lid on the carafe. This way the coee also stays

warm.

10. The device will keep the coee warm for up to 40 minutes. Afterwards, the device will shut o

automatically. To maintain an optimal coee taste, it is best to serve the coee right after brewing.

11. Always make sure that the coee maker is switched o and unplug the power cord from the outlet

when the appliance is not in use.

POINTERS FOR GREAT COFFEE

· A clean coee maker is essential to make great tasting coee. Clean the appliance regularly according

to the guidelines. Always use fresh, cold water in the coee maker.

· Store coee in a dry and cool place.

· Do not reuse any coee, as this will greatly aect the taste of your coee. We also do not recommend

reheating coee.

SETTING THE TIME

1. Put the plug in the socket. The display will show “12:00”.

2. Press the program button to set the time. The display will show “CLOCK”.

3. To set the correct time, press the hours button and the minutes button.

4. Once the time has been set, press the program button three times to conrm the time.

SETTING THE TIMER

1. Prepare the appliance to set coee as indicated under “use” but do not press the on/o button yet.

2. Press the program button twice to set the timer. The display will show “TIMER”.

3. To set the timer, press the hours button and the minutes button.

4. Press the program button to conrm the timer. The time and the set timer will appear on the display

alternatively. The indicator light will now turn green.

5. The coee will begin to run at the time that has been set using the timer.
