Finalize (DVD+R)
Finalizing a DVD+R ‘locks’ its recordings in place so the disc can be
played on most standard DVD players or computers equipped with DVD-
ROM drives.
1 Use […] to go to the top menu.
2 Press [√] to display the Disc Information M enu.
3 Press [√] and select ‘Finalize‘ for a DVD+R.
4 Press [ENTER] as shown on the screen.
5 Select 'Yes' using […] and press [ENTER] to finalize the disc.
6 Press [ENTER] again.
7 Press [SETUP] to go to the top disc menu.
Change Disc Name (Adapt ???)
You can rename your disc to any name you choose. The default disc
name is ‘MY DVD‘.
1 Use […] to go tothe top menu.
2 Press [√] to display the Disc Information M enu.
3 Press [√] and select ‘Change Disc Name‘.
4 Press [ENTER] as shown on the screen.
5 The Keyboard M enu appears.
6 Use [œ √…†] to select and press [ENTER] to enter the name of the disc.
CLR : Clear the disc name
SP : Space
DEL : Delete a character
SAVE : Save the disc name
7 Press [ENTER] again.
8 To save the name of the disc, select ‘SAVE‘ and press [ENTER].

For recordable DVD media, such as DVD+R and DVD+RW discs, you can manage the disc using the Disc Menu.
The DVD+R Disc Menu allows you to rename your disc or finalize it so it will be compatible with most other
DVD players.
Disc Operation in DVD+R disc
• Once you have finalized a DVD+R disc, you cannot edit or record anything else on that disc.
• It may take over 7 minutes for finalizing the edited disk, you'd better wait till the set finish the finalizing operation.
• ‘Finalize’ can take up to 3-4 minutes depending on the type of disc, how much is recorded on the disc, and the
number of titles on the disc.
