SECTION 5 – CONTROLS AND ADJUSTMENTS
The inverter / charger has its own control panel and indicator lights. These control and provide
information when the system is in either inverter or battery charging mode.
NOTE: All settings on the inverter control panel have been preset at the factory – do not
change them. The information below is provided for reference only.
The Inverter Mode LED will be green when the system is in the inverter mode (not charging
batteries) and is delivering full output voltage to the load. When the inverter is in the charging
mode (AC power is available), the LED will be red.
Search Mode potentiometer is set to the full counter clockwise position.
Battery Type is set to 7: deep cycle lead acid.
Battery Charge Rate is set to 25% of maximum. If this is set too high, the batteries can boil.
The maximum charging current should not exceed 20 amps.
Over Discharge potentiometer is set to the full counter clockwise position.
Battery Capacity is set to 125.
Battery Temp Sensor is preinstalled at the factory and is located in the top of the battery
compartment.
