REMOVAL/INSTALL OF KEYLESS ENTRY REMOTE (99369)
Nissan Altima 2016–13
General Tech Tips:
• Rushing the procedure will require 30 second removal of negative battery cable!
• All remotes must be present at time of programming
• 1 Programmed remote required at time of programming
• Programmer will expire after 5 attempts
Programming Instructions
Setup Vehicle for programming:
1. Open driver’s door.
2. Without your foot on the brake pedal, press the START/STOP ENGINE button twice
to the ON position.
3. Turn Hazard light ON.
4. Plug programmer into OBD port located under steering wheel.
5. Programmer will beep twice.
6. Press the START/STOP ENGINE button to the OFF position.
7. Programmer will beep once.
Programming Remotes:
8. Hold the remote in front of the the START/STOP ENGINE button. Without your foot on
the brake pedal, press the button once and continue to hold the remote in front of
the START/STOP ENGINE button.
9. The red car light in the instrument cluster will ash 5 times.
10. Press the START/STOP ENGINE button to the OFF position.
To program additional remotes, repeat steps 8 through 10.
All existing and new remotes for the vehicle must be programmed at this time.
