Apre-recordedmessage“Thisisanemergencycall,toacceptthis
call,presszero.”Thismessagewillbeplayedunlessyoudecideto
recordyourownmessage.
Thealarmmessageshouldincludeyourname,address,andhowto
activatethespeakerphone.
Exampleofanalarmmessage:
"ThisisanemergencycallfromJohnSmithon10,LongStreet,
Middleton.Irequireimmediateassistance.Presszerokeytoconnect
thiscall."SeeAL.MESSAGE,p.4howtorecordyourownmessage.
Activatethealarm
1.Whenthealarmkeyonthecordlesspendant(orthealarmkey
onthephone)ispressedformorethanonesecond,thekey
onthephoneblinkscontinuously.Thephonebeepsloudlyfor15
seconds.Duringthistimeyoucanstoptheprocedurebypressing
anyofthealarmkeysformorethanthreeseconds.
Otherwisethealarmsequencewillstart:
2.Thephonedialstherstalarmnumber.Eachalarmcontactwill
becalledinsuccession,andtherecipientwillhearyourrecorded
alarmmessage.Themostimportantnumbershouldhavethe
rstalarmposition(AL.POS?).
3.Ifthecalledpartyanswersandacceptsthecallwithin60seconds
bypressing
0
(zero),thecallisconnected(inhandsfreemode),
andthealarmsequencestops.
Ifthecallisnotansweredandacceptedwithin60seconds,the
nextnumberisdialled.
4.Thephoneiskeptinhandsfreemode,unlesstheuserpressesthe
handsfreekeyorthecordlessalarmkey.Thealarmsequence
stopsonlywhenallthealarmnumbershavebeendialled.
