1. Press Menu Help request OK e.g. Shopping.
2. Select the type of help you need; Shopping, Transport, Practical is-
sues. Personal matters, or if none of the predefined help request
types correspond to the kind of assistance you are looking for, sim-
ply select Enter free text to write free text to describe what you need
help with.
3. SelectOK, to send the help request your Carers.
Check who administers your Connect & Care
®
service
1. Press Menu
Help request C & C Details.
2. You now see who has activated and administers your Connect &
Care
®
service and also the date for activation.
3. Press Back to confirm and return to the previous menu.
Set the Assistance Button to Connect & Care
®
Your Doro phone comes with an Assistance Button on the rear of the
handset. The Assistance Button can be configured to automatically trig-
ger an assistance call to contact your predefined help numbers. For more
info on how to set this up, see Assistance button
, p.19.
If you have activated the Connect & Care
®
service, the Assistance Button
on your Doro phone can be incorporated into the Doro Connect & Care
®
service instead of triggering an assistance call to your predefined help
numbers.
This means that when you press and hold the Assistance Button, an auto-
matic alarm is sent to your Carers through the Doro Connect & Care
®
service instead of making the assistance call. In this way, your Carers
phones will automatically display an alarm and a notification that you
have pressed the Assistance Button on your Doro phone.
To set the Assistance Button to Connect & Care
®
1. Press Menu Settings Assistance Mode
Connect & Care.
2. Press OK to confirm.
