3. If the device heats up or the ambient air temperature rises, the
charging speed may automatically decrease. This is a normal operat-
ing condition to prevent damage to the device.
Battery saver mode
Once activated, the battery saver mode, helps to increase battery life.
The battery saver is designed to start functioning when the battery level
of your phone reaches a certain level. To save battery many features are
slowed down, such as: background syncing, vibrations (vibrate on touch
will be lost), email and/or message processes and more.
1. From the Home screen, tap
Set A general option
Advanced settings Battery Battery saver.
2. Switch
to enable. When you flip the switch you'll see that the
colour of the switch changes and your status bar at the top of the
screen turns orange. This lets you instantly know that the mode is
enabled (but not necessarily engaged).
3. To automatically activate power saving mode when the remaining
battery power reaches the preset level, tap Turn on automatically
and select an option.
Note! You will be prompted to enable the battery saver feature when the
battery level reaches 20%. The battery saver feature will turn off
automatically when you charge your device.
Reduce battery consumption
Here are some tips on how you may extend the phone’s battery power by
reducing battery consumption.
• Charge your phone often, preferably every day. Charging does not af-
fect the lifetime of the battery.
• When not downloading data from the Internet, which is power con-
suming, disable data connections over mobile networks. Data is still
transmitted over Wi-Fi.
• Turn off Wi-Fi when not in use. Use the notification panel to disable
the features.
• Turn off Bluetooth when not in use. Use the notification panel to dis-
able the features.
