Idle Screen
The idle screen is always shown on the display when there is no activity, i.e. no
incoming/outgoing/active calls, etc. For further details see page 88.

Customized Idle Screen
The idle screen can be customized.
Display Text
The display text determines the appearance of extensions (SIP identities) on the idle screen and
will be displayed instead of the SIP URI:

L Note: Texts exceeding the maximum will be cut off.
Context-Sensitive Function Keys
ip820c, ip830c, and ip840c: The functionality of the context-sensitive keys (see page 8 and 87)
for the idle screen can be changed:
