Barricade Tape: Barricade tapes will consist of high visibility safety yellow or red polyethylene with bold black letters. Standard Letter
height is two inches (2"). Tape helps prevent accidents by increasing visibility of hazards and can be tied, stapled or nailed in place.
Underground Tape: Non-Detectable warning tape for the protection, location and identification of underground utility installations.
Consists of a nominal 4.0 mil overall thickness inert plastic film formulated to resist degradation due to acid and alkalies found in soils.
Product is lead free.
Detectable T ape: Detectable warning tape consists of nominal 4.5 mil (.0045") overall thickness, with a solid aluminum foil core.
The imprinted warning message is "Buried, or Encased" to prevent ink rub-off, and is impervious to acid, alkalis and other destructive
elements found in soil. The imprint is as such that it allows for total reflectivity. Use of an industrial grade non-ferrous metal detector is
used when location is needed.
