TheoutputoftheS‐250‐12externalpowersupply,canbeadjustedupanddown10%.ItisrecommendedtokeepthevoltageattheD2adjustedtoatleast
11.5vdc,butnomorethan13.0vdc.Byrunningtheenclosurehigherthan13.0vdcmaycauseprematurecomponentfailure.Itisbesttocheckandtunethevoltageat
theCoolDomewithavoltagemeteratthetimeofinstallation,andusetheadjustmentscrew,locatedontheS‐250‐12,totherightsideoftheterminalscrews,toraiseor
lowertheoutputvoltage.
Foralloutdoorwiring,alwaysuseanoutdoorratedwiring,orwiringinweatherratedconduit,outfrompowersupply,intotheCoolDome.Followalllocaland
applicablewiringandsafetystandards.

ItisalwaysadvisabletouseadriplooponallwiringgoingdirectlyintotheD2enclosure,toreducetheriskofwaterenteringanddamaginginternal
components.Allfittingsandsealsmustbefirmlytightenedandsealed,beforeplacingtheD2inservice.
InsidetheD2wehaveprovidedaconvenientScrewcageclampstyleterminalblockstowirethe12vdcpositive(V+),andthe12vdcNegative(V‐)terminal.
Pleasestriptheinsulationoffthelast3/8”ofthewiresandfastenwiringsecurelytoterminal,usingasmallbladescrewdrivertotightenthecagingmechanismonthe
terminalblocks.PleasebeespeciallyattentivetowireusingtheProperPolarity
,soasnottodamagetheinternalcomponents,ordamageyourcamerawithin.
