coolingunitisengaged,andcameraandallaccessoriesareon.Voltagedropwillbemuchless,ifthecurrentisnotatfullload.

Thereusabledesiccantcanistercontainsfortygramsofsilicagel.ThiswillpreventmoisturebuildupinsidetheCool
Dome.Makesuretoremovethecanister,locatedbelowthecameramount,fromitspackagingbeforetheCoolDomeisput
touse.Thereisasmallwindowonthecanister(whitecircle).Ensurethatthecrystalsareblue.Occasionally,especiallyin
humidenvironments,thecanistermayneedtobeserviced.Ifso,thecrystalsinthewindowturnpink,andthesilicagelis
saturatedwithmoistureandcanbereactivatedbybeingplacedinanovenat300°Fforthreehoursoruntilthecrystalsturn
blueagain.Thegelcanbereactivatedvirtuallyaninfinitenumberoftimes.
Humiditycontrol/Dessicantcannistershouldberemovedfromitsfoilpackagingandsecuredwithinenclosureoutofthe
way.Theclearwindowshowninthewhitecircleshouldbebluewhencompletelydry.
