Establishing a wireless connection
4.2.4 Adding X-zone to a group
1. Position the ungrouped X-zone 5500 next to the main
device.
2. Press the key on the main device to open the menu.
3. Select and confirm .
4. Select and confirm to start the search process for
group devices.
Display on main device:
Grouping LED:
red-green flashing slowly.
Display on the group device:
Grouping LED:
green flashing slowly.
5. Press the key on the
required group device to add the X-zone to the group.
 Grouping LED group device: lit in green.
6. Press the key on the main device to end the search
process.
 Grouping LED main device: lit in red-green.
 Grouping is completed.
7. If necessary, disable group monitoring provisionally (see
chapter 4.2.7 on page 53).
8. Set up new group device at the location of use.
4.2.5 Remove X-zone from a group
1. If necessary, disable group monitoring provisionally (see
chapter 4.2.7 on page 53).
2. Position group device to be removed next to the main
device.
3. Press the key on the main device to open the menu.
4. Select and confirm .
5. Select and confirm .
Display on main device:
Grouping LED:
red-green flashing quickly.
Display on the group device:
Grouping LED:
green flashing quickly.
6. Press the key on the group device to be removed to
remove the X-zone from the group.
 Grouping LED on removed group device: off.
7. Press key on the main device.
 Grouping LED main device: lit in red-green.
 Grouping is completed.
NOTICE
If the last group device is removed from the group, the
whole group is terminated automatically.
