HOW TO USE CHARGING DOCK
1) Insert the cable from the Charging Dock into the Xbox 360 console for power.
2) Slide the Rechargeable Battery into the Charging Dock and snap it into place.
While the battery is charging, the red “CH” light will be lit. Once the battery is fully charged, the green “FULL” light will
light up. You are then ready to use the battery.
3) To dislodge, press the button located on the top side of the battery and slide it out of the Charging Dock.
TO USE YOUR RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
Make sure your Xbox 360 Rechargeable Battery is fully charged before the first use. Whenever battery power is
depleted, charge the battery.
1) To detach the Rechargeable Battery from the controller, press the tab on top and pull down.
2) To insert the Rechargeable Battery, stick it in to the battery compartment of the controller and push in.
NOTE: It is advisable to push only on the flat surface of the battery to avoid pinching your fingers. It may take up to 6
hours to charge when using the PowerPlay Cable. It may take up to 2 hours to fully charge the battery when using the
Charging Dock.
When the Rechargeable Battery is unused for a long time, it may lose its charge. Do not be alarmed if the battery
becomes warm during charging cycle or use. This does not indicate a problem. It is normal. It may take up to 20
minutes to have enough power for the Rechargeable Battery to be used with the Charging Cable when the power is
depleted. After long periods of non-use, it may take 3 to 5 charging cycles for the Rechargeable Battery to be at its full
capacity. Replace the Rechargeable Battery when play time becomes shortened or when it can no longer be charged.
Keeping Your Battery & Charger Clean
Be sure and keep your Rechargeable Battery and Charging Dock clean. Dirt and debris may harm the battery contacts.
Use a dry cloth to clean the Rechargeable Battery and Charging Dock. DO NOT use water or any chemicals to clean it.
TO USE YOUR CHARGING CABLE
1) Insert the Charging Cable to the charge port, located on the front of the controller.
NOTE: Connecting the Charging Cable to the controller WITHOUT a Rechargeable Battery may damage the controller.
2) Turn on the Xbox 360 console.
3) After you have turned on your Xbox 360 console, the light on the Charging Cable will light up red. After your battery
is fully charged, the light will turn green and you will be able to use your controller wirelessly.
Troubleshooting
Problem: Battery Pack charge diminishes too quickly
Solution: After many charge cycles and as the Rechargeable Battery ages, the amount of play time will decrease. If the
play time starts getting shorter or if the Rechargeable Battery does not charge anymore, replace with a new battery
pack.
Problem: Charge time is too slow
Solution: When charging and playing at the same time, the Rechargeable Battery takes longer to charge. Certain
games require vibration, this may also increase charge time.

Solution: Make sure the Rechargeable Battery is completely locked into the battery compartment. Detach and
re-attach it a few times. Check the contacts to see if they have been damaged.
