XI. BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING
The diagnostic flash codes for your scooter are designed to help you perform basic
troubleshooting quickly and easily. The diagnostic flash code is displayed as one of
seven flashing lights on the battery indicator. The farthest left light indicates flash
code 1, while the farthest right light indicates flash code 7:
Please refer to the diagram below for flash codes, description of problem, and
recommended actions.

Low Battery
Voltage
Charge batteries. Check battery cables, connections,
and fuses.

Thermal Fault
Power off the scooter, let rest for 15 minutes, power
back on to resume driving.

Park Brake
Fault
Place the freewheel lever in “drive” mode.
4
Throttle Fault
Make sure the throttle is in the neutral or rest
position when powered on.

Throttle Fault
Defective throttle, contact your authorized Drive
Medical Provider.

Motor Fault
Contact your authorized Drive Medical Provider.
7
Unknown Fault
Contact your authorized Drive Medical Provider.
All Lights
Over Voltage
Turn scooter off; contact your authorized Drive
Medical Provider.
Once the recommended action is taken, turn the scooter off and then back on again to
clear the flash code. If the problem was not corrected, or another problem exists the
controller may display another flash code.
ATTENTION Your scooter may have a diagnostic light on the tiller that
will stay on constantly. The light will begin to flash when you have a
serviceable item.A
