STABILITY & REACTIVITY
Stability: Stable
Incompatibility: Acidic, Cationic, and salt materials may gel the product.
Materials to avoid: Strong acids. Absorbs carbon dioxide on exposure to air. May react with ammonium salts resulting in
evolution of ammonia gas. Flammable hydrogen gas may be produced on contact with aluminum, tin, lead,
and zinc.
Conditions to avoid: Do not mix with other material unless advised by supplier. Freezing conditions will damage product.
Hazardous decomposition products: Hyrdogen.

TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Acute Data: When tested for primary irritation potential, a similar material caused moderate irritation to the eyes and moderate irritation to the
skin.
Subchronic Data: Repeated ingestion or ingestion of large doses of soluble lithium compounds is reported to cause temporary mental function
impairment.
Special Studies: Repeated ingestion of large doses of soluble lithium compounds during pregnancy is reported to cause fetal abnormalities. Frequent
ingestion over extended periods of time to gram quantities of silicates is associated with the formation of kidney stones and other
serious urinary calculi in humans. There are no other raw materials at 0.1% or greater listed as potential carcinogens by OSHA,
IARC, or NTP.

ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
The products of hydrolysis are readily biodegradable. In concentration, the high pH of this material may be harmful to aquatic organisms. It does not
contribute to BOD. May cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Prevent large amounts of material from entering surface waters,
drains or sewers and soil. Sinks and mixes with water. Only water will evaporate from this material.

DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS
Dispose in accordance with applicable Federal, State, Provincial and local environmental regulations.
THIS PRODUCT WHEN SPILLED OR DISPOSED OF IS A NON-HAZARDOUS WASTE AS DEFINED IN RCRA REGULATION (40CFR261). Material
that cannot be used or chemically reprocessed should be disposed of at an approved facility in accordance with any applicable government
regulations. State and local regulations may be more stringent than Federal regulations.

This material is not a regulated hazardous material for transportation.

Inventory) or are exempted from listing because of Low Volume Exemption has been granted in accordance with 40 CFR 723.50
OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200 requires that information be provided to employees regarding the hazards of chemicals by means of a hazard
