1.Connect micro USB cable.

Recharge takes approx. 3 hours (80% up).

LED at right side indicate Red.

When charged Full, recharge stop and indicator

becomes Off. Use supplied charger only.

GPS time setting can be done during recharging.

Live View Recoding (TV set and HDMI cable required)

1. Using supplied



micro HDMI cable, connect TV and unit. Turn on unit

pressing Power/Enter button for 3 sec. TV shows camera Live View (Fig1).

2. Press Power/Enter Button then REC starts. Red spot appeared on

upper left side of the TV screen and Rec date/time appeared on lower

right sidelikewise.

3. Press Power/Enter Button again then REC stop and the red spot

disappeared.

Sometimes you can see text comment "File Encryption..." on the TV

screen. This means PS-9 is checking the encrypted files. Please keep

on waiting until the comment disappeared.

In the Live View Recording, the function of neither Sleep mode nor

motion recording is effective.

＊

Live View Recording is not available under 90° setting or 270°setting.

will repair or exchange at no charge. Shipping the unit to the repair facility is the

1. Evidence of abuse, self repair or modification is present.

to the Driveman only

damages or memory loss or other damages for any reason, ARC's responsibility is

limited to the Driveman product alone.

Time Clock appeared in the LCD display.

By pressing

the Power/Enter button, PS-9 starts recording and clock

setting is adjusted automatically by embedded GPS at the same time.

If the GPS signal can not



captured in 10 minutes, previously

memorized clock setting may be appeared.

Once GPS signal was captured in order, PS-9 stop receiving action.

Bracket has notch on outer ring. Position the notch

to toward front.

Aim unit up and rotate unit down until stop.

The down stop position to be correct position.

Left end digit in the LCD display will be blinking.

Select from 0 to 9

If the password is incorrect, Password Error alert appeared.

Now the digit is blinking and you shall enter correct number

for the digit likewise.

Connect the power cable securely, half exposed live contact may

heat up and could start a fire.

･

Never jar or impact the LCD panel. This could break the Panel

and cause fire or injury

･

Mount the unit at the proper position.

Wrong mounting

may result in the unit malfunctioning or may fall

off from bracket during driving.

･

In the case of smoke or burning odor coming from the unit,

turn off unit immediately and report to our sevice center

･

Never disassemble the unit. Never modify the unit.

Fire, electronic shock or malfunction could result and your

arrantywould be voided.

･

Never attempt to operate the controls or any settings during

driving.

This must only be done while the bike is parked.

･

Never use the unit or the power cable got wet with water,

chemicals or any other liquids. A short circuit may cause fire or

electrical shock.

・

Use only supplied connectors and AC charger.

Do not connect other than supplied, or it may cause smoke, heat,

strange sound and stink.

・

Do not store unit with full charge condition over 30 days, or Battery

capacity becomes less and life becomes shorten.

For partial discharge, power ON and LED flash light On recommended

until center Green LED indicator shows 80~50% charge.

・

For disposal of unit, open rear rubber door and dip in salt water for

few days to discharge battery completely and dispose as garbage

not burn.

・

Humid air may sneak into unit during rubber door open.

Moisture can fog from inside that makes wiping not possible.

On such event, open

rubber door on back and keep unit in a airtight

plastic bag with a



desiccant

for 48 hours.

・

There is a case where the video is distorted in the vicinity of strong

radio waves

・

There is a case where the recording video and/or sound is distorted

near the place close to

specific facilities such as broad casting

station, transmission towers, wireless communication

base station,

mobile radio station, etc.

・

Microwave oven or some kind of radiation-emitting produts can be a

cause of video distortion.

・

Electrical noise from ETC wiring location can enterfere the function

of Driveman.

11. Sleep Mode 16. Image Rotation For energy saving, when unit find unit still and idle recording for preset time, unit go sleep.You can choose desired time to enter sleep mode from six values. 1. Select Sleep mode Min with Select/Light Button. Press Power/Select Button then the cursor move to right side and you can select desired value from 1/3/5/10/15/OFF.Place the cursor onto the desired value and press Power/Select button to confirm the setting. 2.
