9. DISPLAY MANAGEMENT
Brightness Adjustment
The brightness of an LCD display is controlled by adjusting the intensity of the backlight. The
backlight level for the X7 can be controlled manually or automatically.
Manual Brightness Adjustment
Your ARMOR X7 computer is pre-set for manual adjustment of screen brightness. The backlight
level can be adjusted manually in two ways: by pressing a button sequence on the control panel
or by adjusting the slider in the Backlight Setup dialog window of ARMORutils.
Using a Button Sequence
Press the Fn button once (do not hold) and then repeatedly press the P1 button. The brightness
will increase in steps until it reaches 100%, then will start over at minimum brightness.
Using the ARMORutils Backlight Setup Dialog
Double-click on the ARMORutils desktop icon and select the Backlight Setup button. The
Backlight Setup dialog opens as shown in
