Installing a SIM Card
The socket for the SIM card is located in the Flexspace compartment underneath the SSD.
Follow the procedure in Table 17 to access the Flexspace compartment and install the SIM
card.
NOTE
This procedure should only be performed by a qualified
technician in a controlled environment.
CAUTION!
Circuit boards containing electrostatic discharge (ESD) sensitive
devices are exposed in this compartment. Static-free handling
and processing is required to prevent possible damage to the
components.

Power down the tablet and disconnect
any external power.

Remove the batteries.

Remove the 12 Philips screws securing
the hard drive cover and remove the
cover to expose the hard drive, as shown
in
Figure 87.

Disconnect and remove the hard drive to
expose the SIM card socket, also shown
in Figure 87.
