6 checksum Frame check sequence.
The gain factor computed for each bias setting is a two - piece formula.
For gain_bias <= 2047, gain_factor = (0.75*gain_bias/2047)+0.25
For gain_bias >= 2048, gain_factor = (3*(gain_bias-2048)/2047)+1
