DRYSAFER SAFETY TIPS
As part of your home’s safety program, change the Alarm battery
once a year or when changing batteries in your smoke and carbon
monoxide detectors. We also recommend changing the battery
after the Alarm indicates a clogged vent to ensure proper battery
operation.
Periodically test the battery by using the test button located on the
DrySafer Alarm. **SEE NOTIFICATION INFORMATION SHEET
Have your dryer vent cleaned and inspected every two years
Inspect your vent hood on the outside of your home for any obstruc-
tions or lint buildup.
Inspect your venting for any kinks, obstructions or objects that may
have fallen onto it.
Clean your lint filter after every load of clothes.
Keep all flammable liquids, oily rags and other objects away from
the dryer.
Make sure to unplug your dryer while working on it.
