4. FIRST AID MEASURES
First aid measures
General Advice
Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance. Immediate medical attention is
required.
Eye Contact
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. Keep
eye wide open while rinsing. Remove contact lenses, if applicable, and continue flushing. Do
not rub affected area. Seek immediate medical attention/advice.
Skin Contact
Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. May cause an
allergic skin reaction If symptoms persist, call a physician. Do not remove clothing if adhering
to skin. If skin has bonded to clothing or other skin NEVER pull the area apart. Allow acetone
or warm water to penetrate the bond and gently attempt to move bonded areas without pulling
the skin away from bonded area. Consult a physician if necessary.
Inhalation
Move to fresh air. Get medical attention immediately if symptoms occur.
Ingestion
Rinse mouth. Clean mouth with water and afterwards drink plenty of water. Never give
anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Do NOT induce vomiting. Consult a physician.
Protection of First

Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Use personal protective equipment. For personal
protection see Section 8.

Burning. Itching. Rashes. Hives. Burning sensation.
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed

May cause sensitization of susceptible persons. Treat symptomatically.

Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.

CAUTION: Use of water spray when fighting fire may be inefficient.
