1. Connect the mains plug with a socket. Switch to the position “ON”.
2. Press the function button and select the desired cooking function.
3. The pre-set cooking time will now appear in the “Timer” section on the display. To change the
cooking time, select the desired time by turning the cooking/browning control (pos. 4) +/-.
The cooking time can be increased or decreased in increments of 1 minute. The maximum
cooking time is 120 minutes (2 hours).
Convenience food
NOTE: Some convenience food has a cooking time, which is up to 30 % less than the
pre-programmed cooking time of the unit. Please compare the cooking times set by the
unitwiththosestatedinyourrecipeandthecookingtimesspeciedonthepackaging.
4. Open the glass door and place the food to be cooked in the unit.
5. Close the glass door.
6. Press the start/stop button. The timer will now begin to count down and the amount of
minutes will blink in the display window. Condensation may accumulate on the inside of the
glassdoor;thiswillevaporateastheprogrammecontinues.Aftertheprogrammehasnished,
5 beeps will be emitted.
7. Open the glass door. Please use insulated oven mitts to remove the cooked food.
Toasting
NOTE: In order to change the degree of browning during the toasting process, you will
have to start the programme again. Hold the stop button down until a beep is emitted.
The current selection for the toasting setting will now appear in the display window.
Select the desired degree of browning and press the start button in order to continue
the toasting process. Watch the food to be cooked in order to prevent excessive brow-
ning. In the event the crust becomes too crisp for you, you can cover the food to be
cooked during the cooking process with baking foil or with aluminium foil.
Prior to start-up, please observe our note regarding the accessories and use on the
oven (see descriptions on pages 5 and 6 for using the accessories).
Cooking time and cooking temperature tables
The tables only provide approximate guide values. In order to ensure that the meat, poultry, and
shdishesarecooked,pleaseuseathermometer.Thecookingtimesapplytofreshfood(not
frozen food), which is kept in the refrigerator.
Fry function
For frying, place the food to be cooked on the baking sheet. Place the baking sheet on the oven
grate (carrying rack 1, 2 or 3). The food to be cooked should be at a distance of 2–4 cm from the
heating element.
