11. To save it, click on the “Save” button. The following window will appear:
The installation folder is selected as the default destination. However, you can also select
any other destination you wish from the drop-down menu (P).
Then enter the le name you want into the input eld (Q) which is provided for this. Make
sure that you do not use any special characters.
The track can be saved in the formats WAV, OGG, FLAC or MP3. The WAV le type is
selected as the default setting. If you would prefer a different le type, open the drop-down
menu (R) and select the le type you want.
Finally, click on the “Save” button.
If you have selected the le type MP3, then please continue reading from point 12.
With all other le types, the track is now saved on your computer and the following
window will appear:
Click on “OK”. You can now either record further tracks or close the program by
clicking on the “Exit” button.
12. To save a recorded track as an MP3 le, you require the “Lame MP3 encoder”. Before
you rst save a track as an MP3 le, you must rst download this once and extract it (see
“Downloading ‘Lame MP3 encoder’” chapter).
