If this error message is displayed, ensure that the Panel Identifier Code is the same
in the account as it is in the customers security system. You can check the Panel
Identifier Code for the panel by viewing the Event Detail for the event, Unable to
Identify calling Panel in the System Log. If it is not the same, enter the correct Panel
Identifier Code in the DLS Section.

If this error message is displayed then an account was open when the panel that called
attempted to connect to DLS-2. Make sure that there is no account window open
when an incoming call is expected.

If this error message is displayed while opening a DLS-1 account, try or more of the
following:
· Ensure that the correct modem and COM port have been selected in the Program
Configuration window of DLS-1 v6.5.
· Shut the modem off, then turn it back on. Select Initialize Modem from the [F3] menu
within the account.
· End the Windows session and restart Windows.

If this error message is displayed, please program the telephone number to be used to
connect to the control panel in the Panel Phone field of the Account Information
window.
10. Modem communications with the control panel will not be possible if you leave the
PC-Link connector connected to the panel. Disconnect the PC-Link connector from
the control panel once all PC-Link communications have been completed.
11. Avoid processor intensive applications while the DLS-2 Software is communicating.
Using other applications that require large amounts of available Windows resources
while the DLS-2 Software is communicating may result in errors. If enough errors
occur, the software will terminate communications with the panel. If such an error
occurs, complete all work with the other application before reestablishing
communications.
12. Do not run DOS applications in full-screen windows while communicating with
PC4010/4020 v2.X, PC4010/4020 v3.0 or PC4020KT v1.0 accounts.
