Pre-Installation PLANNING INSTALLATION Read all instructions before installing. To avoid damaging this product, place it on a soft, non-abrasive surface, such as carpet or cardboard. IMPORTANT: Inspect the wire insulation for any cuts, abrasions, or exposed copper that may have occurred during shipping. If there is a defect in the wire, do not attempt installation. Installation 1 Preparing the mounting plate □□ Unscrew the four support screws (short) (GG) from the mounting plate (AA). Remove the mounting plate (AA) from the canopy assembly (A), and keep the four support screws (short) (GG) for later use. AA A GG 2 Installing the mounting plate □□ Place the flat side of the mounting plate (AA) against the wall and make the location of the two long holes with a pencil (not included).
Installation 3 Adjusting the hanging length □□ Loosen the plastic screw (B) on the canopy assembly (A) by using a flathead screwdriver (not included) and adjust the fixture wire to the desired length, then tighten the plastic screw (B) back into the hole as shown in diagram. □□ Repeat this step for the other lamp shades. A B 4 Making the electrical connections □□ Strip 3/4 in. of insulation from the wire ends.
Installation (continued) 5 6 Assembling the canopy assembly to the mounting plate Installing the light bulbs □□ Install the light bulbs (not included) into the sockets of the lamp shade (C). Use three 60-watt medium base (E26) type “ST64” bulbs (recommended). □□ Place the canopy assembly (A) over the mounting plate (AA), align the holes of the canopy assembly (A) and the holes of the mounting plate (AA), and then tighten the four support screws (short) (GG).
