Press the button under the
F
canopy (J), where the steel
wire comes out to adjust the
steel wires to the desired
length. Release the button to
hold the steel wire in position,
as shown in the diagram. Loosen
the plastic screw by using a
flathead screwdriver (not provided)
and adjust the fixture wire to the
desired length, then tighten the
plastic screw back into the hole as
shown in diagram.
Fasten the mounting strip (A)
Strip 2 cm / 3/4 in. of insulation from the wire ends. Twist the live wire from the fixture together with the black wire from outlet box.
Twist the neutral wire from the fixture together with the white wire from outlet box. Twist the bare copper ground wire from the canopy
together with the green ground wire from the fixture and the ground wire from the outlet box, the bare copper ground wire from the
canopy must loop one turn under the head of green ground screw (C) on the mounting strip (A) before it is connected to the ground
wire from the outlet box and the green ground wire from the fixture. Note: the live wire is labeled and marked “Black Live Wire/Câble
noir sous tension/Cable blanco neutral,” the neutral wire is labeled and marked “White Neutral Wire/Câble blanc neutre/Cable blanco
neutral.” The green ground wire from the fixture is labeled and marked “Green Ground Wire/Câble vert de mise à la terre/Cable verde

the threaded tube (B) into
mounting strip (A). Using the
lock washer (E) and one hex
nut (F), secure the threaded
tube (B) in place. This threaded
tube (B) should extend long
enough to protrude through
the canopy when it is mounted.
(Adjust as needed)
Hang the end of the steel wires
to the hook of mounting strip (A)
as shown.


