Pre-Installation PLANNING INSTALLATION □ Read all instructions before installing. □ To avoid damaging this product, place it on a soft, non-abrasive surface, such as carpet or cardboard. IMPORTANT: Inspect the wire insulation for any cuts, abrasions, or exposed copper that may have occurred during shipping. If there is a defect in the wire, do not attempt installation. Installation 2 Installing the crossbar assembly 1 □ Confirm that the holes on the shade (B) align with the holes on the fixture body (A). Pass mounting screws (EE) through holes of the shade (B) and holes on the fixture body (A) and thread into the mounting ball (FF). Hand-tighten until snug. NOTE: Prior to installation, close or cover the sink drain and/or any vents near the installation site to prevent loss of mounting hardware if dropped.
Installation (continued) 4 Cutting the fixture wire □ □ □ Confirm the desired hanging height. Refer to step 3 if adjustments are needed. Using wire cutters, cut the fixture wire leaving approximately 10 inches of wire extending from the Canopy. On the fixture wire, remove 4 inches of the outer sleeve. Installation (continued) 6 Assembling the fixture body to the outlet box □ □ Line up the holes on the canopy of the fixture body (A) and the mounting holes on the crossbar assembly (AA). Secure with the mounting screws (DD). Tighten until snug. AA DD A 7 Installing the light bulb □ Install correct bulb referring to fixture markings and/or labels for maximum wattage. NOTE: Use (1) 100W maximum medium base (E26) type "A" or 15W maximum medium base (E26) self-ballasted LED bulb (sold separately).
Care and Cleaning □ Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives. Use only a dry, soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully. □ To clean the fixture, disconnect power by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the fuse box, and use a dry or slightly dampened, clean cloth to wipe the exterior surface of the fixture. Instalación 1 del Ensamble de la barra 2 Instalación transversal Montaje del cuerpo de la lámpara □ Compruebe que los orificios de la pantalla (B) queden alineados con los orificios del cuerpo de la lámpara (A). Pase los tornillos de montaje (EE) a través de los orificios de la pantalla (B) y de los orificios del cuerpo de la lámpara (A) y enrósquelos en la bola de montaje (FF). Apriételos a mano hasta que queden fijos.
Instalación (continuación) 4 Corte del cable de la lámpara □ □ □ Verifique que la altura para colgar sea la deseada. Si necesita realizar ajustes, consulte el paso 3. Corte el conductor de la lámpara con pinzas cortacables; deje que el conductor se extienda aproximadamente 25,4 cm desde la base. En el conductor de la lámpara, retire 10,16 cm del manguito exterior. Con la pinza pelacables, pele cada cable a 1,27 cm del extremo.
Instalación (continuación) 6 Corte el exceso de cable de la lámpara □ □ Alinee los orificios en la cubierta del cuerpo de la lámpara (A) y los orificios de montaje en el borde plegado de la barra transversal (AA). Asegure con los tornillos de montaje (DD). Apriete hasta que queden ajustados. AA DD A 7 □ Instalación de la bombilla Instale las bombillas correctas consultando las marcas o las etiquetas en la lámpara para conocer el voltaje máximo.
Cuidado y limpieza □ No use limpiadores que contengan agentes químicos, solventes o abrasivos fuertes. Use solo un paño suave y seco para desempolvar o limpiar cuidadosamente el producto. □ Para limpiar la lámpara, desconecte la alimentación apagando el interruptor de circuito o retirando el fusible de la caja de fusibles y use un paño limpio seco o levemente húmedo para la superficie exterior de la lámpara.
