DT311shouldbeconfigurableforvariouspropertiessuchasuserprofiles,networkfeatures,andseveral
systemelements.

TheDT311isoftendeliveredwithanembedded(user‐inaccessible)802.11acWLANadapterequippedwitha
hiddencustomantenna.
•ThroughthesupportoftypicalWLANadapters,theDT311shouldbeabletodetectall802.11access
pointsinthevicinityforyoutoselecttheaccesspointofyourchoiceforconnection.
•TheSSIDandWEP/WPA/WPA2(ifenabled)parametersontheDT311andtheaccesspointshaveto
match.TheSSIDiscase‐sensitiveanditisrecommendedthatyouenableWEP/WPA/WPA2encryption(or
advancedalternatives)forsecureaccess.
•WhenWEP/WPA/WPA2isenabled,youmayneedtoconsultyournetworkadministratororyour
networkingequipmentliteraturetoproperlyconfigureassociatedsettingssuchasAuthenticationmode,
etc.
•Refertotheaccesspointoperatingmanualsforsettingupthe802.11accesspoints.
