Powering ON and OFF

ToactivatetheDT317CR,pushandquicklyreleasethePowerButton.Thedisplaywillcomeoninafew

seconds.ToputtheDT317CRinStandbymode,pushandquicklyreleasethePowerButton.Toturnthe

DT317CRoffforextendedstorage,poweroffsafelyusinganysoftwarefunctionthat“shutsdowncomputer”

providedinthesoftwareoperatingsystem.





NOTE:

Thebatterypacksshippedwithyourtabletmaybelowinpower—pleaseusetheAC‐DC

adapterwiththeDT317CRwhensettingupforthefirsttimetofullychargetheinternal

batterypack.



NOTE:

Whenthebatterypackischarging,theblue‐coloredBatteryLEDshouldblinkslowly.If

pluggingintheAC‐DCadapterdoesnottriggerthisblinkingactivityandtheLEDstaysdark,

thebatterypack(s)mayhavebeendrainedsubstantially.Tryunplugging/repluggingthe

AC‐DCadaptertotheDT317CRa

fewtimestoactivatethechargingprocess.



NOTE:

Toconservepower,use(pushandquickrelease)thePowerButtontoputthetabletin

“Standby”modewhilenotinuse.Pushingbrieflyonthesamebuttonwillwakeupthesystem

withinseconds.



NOTE:

AvoidusingthePowerButton(“hold4+seconds”feature)toturnoffthetablet—thisformof

hardwareshutdownisintendedtobeameansofrecoveryfromlockups,andnotasnormal

operation.


