Local Frame Loopback:
This loopback is used for locating faults in equipment by routing a tributary input (data from
customer) directly to the corresponding tributary output (data to customer). Any combination of
tributaries may be configured for loopback. Figure 9-2 shows the loopback path. The incoming data
stream from the remote terminal for the tributaries configured in loopback will be affected.
