Installation
Instructions

1.
Unscrew
antenna
mast
from
base
by
turning
the
mast
counter-dockwise.
2.
Remove
Phillips
screw
from
side
of
ball
base
and
set
aside
for
reinstallation.
3.
Looking
down
at
the
top
of
the
base,
remove
the
second
Phillips
screw
that
is
onw
accessible.
4.
Lift
off
remainder
of
the
ball
mount,
plastic
base
and
rubber
base
gasket
5.
Locate
a
suitable
flat
area
to
mount
the
antenna.
Check
below
the
mounting
area
to
safeguard
against
any
damage
to
other
surfaces
or
equipment
Also
make
sure
you
will
be
able
to
run
the
antenna
cable
to
~ur
stereo
from
this
location.
6.
Using
a
suitable
marking
instrument,
mark
the
hole
and
check
all
clearances
one
more
time
to
make
sure
there
are
no
obstructions.
7.
Drill
a
7/8•
(22mm)
hole
and
de--burtheedges.
8.
Feed
antenna
cable
into
the
hole
while
aligning
the
movable
antenna
legs
into
a
vertical
position.
9.
While
holding
the
antenna
assemb~
from
the
bottom,
r~attach
the
rubber
base
gasket
and
plastic
base.
Place
the
ball
mount
into
the
plastic
base
and
re-attach
the
Phillips
screw.
10.
Tighten
the
Phillips
screw
slowly,
making
sure
the
movable
antenna
legs
below
the
m(?unting
surface
"
are
in
the
horizontal
position.
Tighten
until
firm,
but
do
not
over
tighten.
11.
Re-
attach
the
remaining
ha
If
of
the
ball
mount
using
the
screw
from
step
#2.
Adjust
angle
as
desired
while
tightening.
12.
R~
attach
antenna
mast
and
route
cable
to
stereo.
