The browning control will be illuminated red for the duration of the toasting. To toast, turn the browning control indicator to your desired browning setting (1 is the lightest and 9 is the darkest setting). Note: the freshness, thickness and type of bread will effect required toasting times. We recommend setting 5 for medium slice, white bread.
