Troubleshooting

X-ray image only shadowy The X-ray dose on the image
plate was insufficient
i Increase X-ray dose.
Amplification (HV value) is set too
low in the software
i Increase amplification (HV value).
Unsuitable scanning mode select-
ed
i Select a suitable scanning
mode.
Ghosting or double expo-
sure on X-ray image
Image plate exposed twice i Only expose the image plate
once.
Image plate not sufficiently erased
i Check the erasure unit is work-
ing correctly.
i Inform a service technician if the
problem persists.
X-ray image mirrored in
one corner
Image plate bent during X-ray ex-
posure
i Do not bend the image plate.
