Troubleshooting
Fault Probable cause Solution
Network connection has
been disconnected
Connecting cable between device
and computer not correctly con-
nected
i Check the connecting cable.
The IP address of the device is
being used by another unit
i Check the network settings (IP
address and subnet mask) and
assign a unique IP address to
every device.
i Inform a service technician if the
problem persists.
Unit ejects the image plate
without the image data
being transmitted to the
imaging software. Error
message: "Incorrect image
plate type inserted"
IQ image plate not used i Only use Dürr Dental IQ image
plates
i The ejected image plate can be
imported on a suitable image
plate scanner (e.g. VistaScan
Mini View). Make sure that the
image plate is protected against
ambient light.
