9. Maintenance

Turn off main switch!

Maintenance may only be carried out with the sewing

machine s witched off.

Maintenance work must be carried out no less frequently than at the intervals given in

the tables (see “operating hours” column).

Maintenance i ntervals may need to be shorter when processing heavy-shedding

materials.

9.1 Cleaning and inspection

A clean sewing machine is a protection against malfunctions.
