4.2.7 VDCP Settings

With the VDCP settings you set the location of the material that the

video channel should output when controlled in slave mode via VDCP.

It provides the following settings items:

Output path Enter in this field the output path where the

video material is located that should be output

by the VENICE server when controlled in slave

mode via VDCP. The material that is expected

in this path (root directory directly or one level

down) are VENICE metaclips.

Simplify clip name When deactivated, you have to send the com-

plete path and name to the clip that should be

output: <outputPath>/[<subdir>/]

When activated, the field Output path will be

automatically added to the sent clip name. Ad-

ditionally, you have to leave out the file exten-

sion: [<subdir>/]<clipName>
