Audio-only File Formats
The following uncompressed audio-only file formats are supported by
the VENICE server:

Audio interchange format. Platform-inde-
pendent file format for sound. Capable of
storing multiple mono or stereo channels.
BWF *.rf64
*.wav
Broadcast wave format. Platform-indepen-
dent file format for sound. Extension of the
Wave format capable of storing multiple
mono or stereo channels together with
metadata and enabling file sizes of more
than 4 GB.
Wave *.wav File format for digital audio (waveform)
data under Windows. Capable of storing
multiple mono or stereo channels.
