The IP Camera also provides PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet) support for users who connect to the network via PPPoE. Get IP address automatically (DHCP) The camera’s default setting is “Use fixed IP address”. Please refer to the previous section Accessing Camera for login with the default IP address.

Audio This setting is only available for the IP Cameras that support audio. Management The class consists of HTTP traffic: Web browsing.

In other words, it allows those using a dynamic IP address to be associated to a static domain name so others can connect to it by name.

In the Motion Detection setting page, there is a frame (Motion Detection Window) displayed on the Live View Pane. The Motion Detection Window is for defining the motion detection area.

Detection of camera tampering is achieved by measuring the differences between the older frames of video (which are stored in buffers) and more recent frames.
