K-Factors for Series
PWF & EFF
The accuracy of Dwyer Instruments Inc. ow meters depends
on the accuracy of the K-factor for each meter tting or
spool piece. Tee ttings and spool-type meters are wet-
calibrated in the factory before shipping to the customer,
and the K-factor appears on a label on each individual tting
or meter. Saddle and weldolet ttings cannot be factory-
calibrated because the K-factor will vary depending on the
type of pipe on which the meter is installed.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The charts below give K-factors for Series EFS2
(Electromagnetic) and Series PDWS (Paddle wheel) meters
installed in saddle or weldolet ttings on various pipes. On
the chart that corresponds to your meter type, locate your
pipe size and type. Enter the corresponding K-factor into
your controller.
