theminimum.
ii. Pipeslargerthan3”canalsobeused.
c. UseacouplingandreducerbushingtoattachtheSeriesULStothepipe.
i. BesuretouseaplasticreducingbushingsuchasULS‐ACC‐121(2”Tx 1”T)fittingorthe
ULS‐ACC‐
221(2”Sx1”T)fitting.
ii. FortheSeriesULSL,useareducerbushingsuchasULS‐ACC‐131(3”Tx2”T)fittingor
theULS‐ACC‐231(3”Sx2”T)fitting.
d. Thepipelengthshouldrunthe measurementspanandthebottomofthepipe shouldremain
submergedatalltimestopreventfoamfromenteringthepipe.
e. Cuta45°notchatthebottomofthepipeanddrilla1/4”pressureequalizationholeinthedead
band.
f. Thepumpsshouldnotdriveliquidpasttheopenendofthestandpipewhichcausestheliquid
inthepipetooscillate.
