Printing modes
WRAP-AROUND LABELS
With WRAP-AROUND labels you can wrap your label completely around your wire or cable. The data is automatically printed
onto the label as many times as possible. This way the data is clearly legible from any angle once applied. The number of
times your text is repeated will depend on the length of the label which is set by the diameter of the cable you have entered or
the size of the tape ( horizontal wrapping).
1. Horizontal wrap WRAP
Horizontal wrapping will produce a label that you wrap around a cable or wire, where the text will run across the label.
• Press the key.
The first mode to appear in the display is horizontal wrap.
• Press to select
• The indicator WRAP will be highlighted.
- The length of the label depends on the length of the text
- The amount of lines you can print will depend on the width of the tape you are using (for more detail see SIZE
function page 7)
- When asking multiple copies the printer will print after each label 2 small points to indicate the place to cutt off.
- The printing will stop when using data from the memory which causes an error against the available features.
Please verify your settings and re-start the printing.
2. Vertical wrapping WRAP VERT
With vertical wrap, you wrap your label around the cable or wire. The text will run along the label.
• Press the key.
Use the arrow

on the navigator key to scroll through to the second mode:
Press ENTER and the machine will prompt you to enter the diameter.
The display will show Ø= xx, where xx is defaulted to 2.5mm or 0.1 inch.
• Use arrows H or P on the navigator key to increase or decrease the settings (in steps of 0.1mm or 1mm / 0.1” or 1” ) until
you have reached the diameter of your cable.

Move the cursor to the left with arrow Q t o set the left-hand digit. Enter the cable diameter via the keypad.
Press ENTER to select. The indicators WRAP and VERT will be highlighted.

- Big font can’t be used with this option.
- Max. 3 caracters can be printed on a 12mm tape (smallest font). When entering >3 characters your legend will be cut off.
- Max. 5 caracters can be printed on a 19mm tape (smallest font). When entering >5 characters your legend will be cut off.
