Setting the Default Folders
You can change the default label file and Address Book folders.
To change the default label file folder
1 Do one of the following:
For Windows, choose Preferences from the Edit menu.
For Mac, choose Preferences from the DYMO Label menu.
2 Select the Folders tab.
3 Click Browse next to the Default label file folder box.
The Browse For Folder dialog box appears.
4 Navigate to and select the folder to use as your default folder, and then click OK.
5 Click OK to close the Preferences dialog box and apply your changes.
To change the default Address Book folder
1 Do one of the following:
For Windows, choose Preferences from the Edit menu.
For Mac, choose Preferences from the DYMO Label menu.
2 Select the Folders tab.
3 Click Browse next to the Default Address Book folder box.
The Browse For Folder dialog box appears.
4 Navigate to and select the folder to use as your default folder, and then click OK.
5 Click OK to close the Preferences dialog box and apply your changes.
Setting Other Options
DYMO Label software includes various options for customizing the software.
Suppressing the File Save Prompt
By default, DYMO Label software displays a prompt asking if you want to save changes to a
modified label when you attempt to open another label or exit from the program. However, if you
prefer not to be prompted to save changes, you can choose to suppress the prompt.
To suppress the "File save" prompt
1 Do one of the following:
For Windows, choose Preferences from the Edit menu.
For Mac, choose Preferences from the DYMO Label menu.
2 Select the Functional tab.
3 Under Options, select the Suppress "File save" prompt check box.
4 Click OK to close the Preferences dialog box and apply your changes.
