STANDARD PRECISION SERIES 1 Introduction 1.1 Welcome Thank you for choosing Dynacord SL series amplifier. Please take time to consult this manual so that you can understand all the features built into your Dynacord amplifier and fully utilize all its performance capabilities. 1.2 Unpacking and Inspection Carefully open the packaging and take out the power amplifier. Inspect the power amp’s enclosure for damages that might have happened during transportation.

STANDARD PRECISION SERIES 2.2 Operating Voltage The power amplifier receives its power supply via the Mains input. Only the provided power cord may be used. During installation, always separate the power amplifier from the mains. Connect the power amplifier only to a mains network, which corresponds to the requirements indicated on the type plate. 2.3 Mains Switch The Mains Switch on the front panel separates the power amp from the mains. Turning the Mains Switch to ON starts booting up the power amp.
STANDARD PRECISION SERIES 2.6 Groundlift The ground lift switch allows for eliminating noise loops. When operating the power amplifier together with other equipment in a rack case, setting the switch to the GROUNDED position is recommended. Set the switch to UNGROUNDED, when the power amplifier is operated together with appliances with differing ground potentials. 2.7 LPN-Filter The LPN (Low-pass notch) filter corrects the frequency and phase response of the connected loudspeakers.

The audio signal has to be applied to the input connectors of channel A, amplification is set via input level control of channel A only.

STANDARD PRECISION SERIES 3 Operation 3.1 Volume Control In DUAL and PARALLEL mode, the level controls CH A and CH B on the power amp’s front panel are used to control the amplification of the corresponding channel. Turning the control to the right increases and turning it to the left decreases the volume. In BRIDGED mode operation, the output volume of the power amp is only controlled by the CH A level control. Any changes in the setting of the CH B level control are ignored. 3.

STANDARD PRECISION SERIES 1 Beschreibung 1.1 Willkommen Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für eine Endstufe der Dynacord SL Serie entschieden haben. Bitte lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam durch, damit Sie Ihren neuen Dynacord Verstärker optimal nutzen können. 1.2 Auspacken und Inspektion Öffnen Sie die Verpackung und entnehmen Sie die Endstufe. Überprüfen Sie die Endstufe auf äußere Beschädigungen, die während des Transports zu Ihnen aufgetreten sein können.

STANDARD PRECISION SERIES 2.2 Betriebsspannung Die Spannungsversorgung der Endstufe erfolgt ausschließlich über das mitgelieferte IEC-Netzkabel über den Netzeingang an der Rückseite. Trennen Sie die Endstufe während der Installation immer von der Netzversorgung. Schließen Sie die Endstufe nur an eine geeignete Netzversorgung an, die den auf dem Typenschild angegebenen Anforderungen entspricht. 2.
STANDARD PRECISION SERIES ACHTUNG: Die Lüftungsöffnungen der Endstufe dürfen nicht blockiert/verschlossen werden. Bei fehlender Kühlung kann sich die Endstufe automatisch abschalten. Halten Sie alle Lüftungsöffnungen frei von Staubablagerungen, die den Luftstrom behindern würden. Betreiben Sie die Endstufe nicht in der Nähe von Wärmequellen wie Heizlüftern, Öfen oder anderen Geräten, die Hitze abstrahlen. Die maximale Umgebungstemperatur von +40°C soll für störungsfreien Betrieb nicht überschritten werden.
STANDARD PRECISION SERIES Bi-Amp Verkabelung Die zweite Möglichkeit zum Anschluss von Lautsprechern in den Betriebsarten DUAL und PARALLEL an die Endstufe ist die alleinige Verwendung der Speakon-Buchse CHANNEL A. In dieser kann wie zuvor beschrieben der eine Lautsprecher an den Anschlüssen 1+ und 1- angeschlossen werden. Der andere Lautsprecher ist entsprechend folgender Abbildung an den Anschlüssen 2+ und 2- anzuschließen. Die Anschlüsse 2+ und 2sind nur im Speakon CHANNEL A belegt.
STANDARD PRECISION SERIES 2.9 Verkabelung des Audio-Eingangs Die XLR-Eingänge INPUT A und INPUT B sind elektronisch symmetrisch ausgelegt und nach IEC Norm 268 beschaltet. 2, HOT 3, COLD 1, SHIELD Abbildung 2.1: Symmetrische Beschaltung des Eingangs Falls möglich, sollte stets ein symmetrisches Audiosignal am Eingang der Endstufe verwendet werden.
STANDARD PRECISION SERIES 3 Betrieb 3.1 Eingangspegel-Regler In den Betriebsarten DUAL und PARALLEL regeln die Eingangspegel-Regler CH A und CH B an der Frontseite der Endstufe die Verstärkung des jeweiligen Kanals. Drehung nach rechts erhöht die Lautstärke, Drehung nach links verringert die Lautstärke. Im Brückenbetrieb (BRIDGED) regelt nur der Drehknopf von Kanal A (CH A) die Lautstärke, die Drehknopf-Einstellung von Kanal B (CH B) wird ignoriert. 3.
