Getting Ready For Delivery & Set-up Of Your New Spa
Surface And Pad Requirements
SET-UP & DELIVERY GUIDELINES
It is the customer’s responsibility to acquire necessary permits and to arrange for
installation and hook up of the electrical power by a licensed electrician.
NOTE!
Electrical Requirements
The Swim Spa, must be fully supported over the entire base. A typical installation on soil that
will support 1,000 psi load, is a 5 inch (13cm) thick concrete with #4 rebar on 18 inch (46cm)
centers. Condition at the site will determine the exact support requirements. Please contact
your local contractor for adequate installation. Damages caused by inadequate support will not
be covered by the warranty.
If your spa is located near sprinklers, adjust or cap them so they do not hit the siding of the
spa.
Balconies And Deck Requirements
Do NOT place any swim spa on any deck or balconies.
Gates must be self-closing and self-latching.
Your spa requires 42” (106cm) of clearance through gates between house and side fences,
and up to 8.5’ (3m) overhead clearance depending on the size of the unit.
The clearance required to turn a corner can be equal to the length of the spa.
All debris blocking access to the job site must be removed prior to delivery. Any trimming of
trees or bushes, removal of debris, leveling of ground or other general maintenance must be
done prior to delivery and is the responsibility of the customer.

Your 220 Volt spa pack will require a double pole 60 amp dedicated GFCI (unless noted for
your setup), ground fault circuit breaker.
Extension cords are not to be used in conjunction with operation of the spa. Low voltage
damage could result, which is not covered by warranty.
