General description of the Y-Tag Door Monitor 2.0
The Dyzle Y-Tag Door Monitor 2.0 is a wireless, water-resistant (IP67) sensor that registers whether a
door is opened or closed. A magnetic door switch is connected to the Y-Tag Door Monitor. The Y-Tag
Door Monitor 2.0 sends the status information every five minutes (open / opened / closed / locked) to
the Y-Gate by way of a wireless connection. The Y-Tag Door Monitor 2.0 checks whether the current
status has changed, every 3 seconds. Changes are logged as an additional interval in the 5-minute
measurement interval. The Y-Gate - the base station - collects measurement data from the Y-Tag(s)
and sends the data to the server.

Safety
Installation of the Y-Tag Door Monitor 2.0 requires general knowledge of safe work practices,
therefore may only be carried out by personnel holding the required operational Safety Certificate and
should also have the necessary knowledge of the spaces, equipment and vehicles that will be
measured for temperature as well as the location where the system is to be installed.
While installing please bear the following in mind: the connection cable may not rest against a hot
pipe. Take the necessary precautions to protect the cable from wear and tear.

Consult the Dyzle Hardware Installation Manual before proceeding to install the Y-Tag at a stationary
or mobile location, as well as the wiring diagram below for the Y-Tag Door Monitor 2.0.
