Problem Possible Cause Possible Solution
Aircraft tail control is intermittent. •Loosetailmotorconnectors.
•Damagedtailmotor
•Conrmtailmotorconnectorsare
firmly seated
•Replacetailmotor.
Aircraft hovers with a circular
effect on its own
•Damagedrotorblades
•Missingorlooserotorhead
linkage
•Replacerotorblades
•Replacerotorheadlinkage
(BLH3115)
Aircraft appears to drift a certain
direction
•Ruddertrimnotcenteredbefore
aircraft initialization
•Controlsappeartobereversed
after binding to a different
transmitter
•RefertoUnderstanding Primary
Flight Controls
•Transmitterincorrectlysetup
before binding to the aircraft.
Refer to Control Test
Aircraft constantly spins or drifts
on its own
•Ruddertrimnotcenteredbefore
aircraft initialization
•Trimhasnotbeenadjustedto
compensate for battery discharge
during flight
•Damagedtailrotorblade
•Centerruddertrimandre-
intitialize aircraft
•RefertoUnderstanding Primary
Flight Controls
•Replacetailrotorblade(BLH3117)
Aircraft has bad cyclic control
reactions (for example, forward
elevator input results in aircraft
flying sideways left or right)
•Swashplateanti-rotationpinisout
of the main frame bracket
•Carefullyputpinofswashplatein
the bracket channel, high at the
back of the main frame
Transmitter control stick blocked
or “sticky”
•Stickgimbalmovedupin
transmitter
•Disconnectightbatteryfrom
5-in-1 unit, power off the
transmitter and push in the
transmitter control stick until it
clicks.
Nose of aircraft turns right during
motor control test.
•Transmittercontrolmaybe
reversed and need adjustment.
•MLP4DSMtransmitter,setthe
rudder channel to normal
direction.
•SpektrumandJRtransmitters,set
the rudder channel servo
reversing to normal.
•Otherradiosystemsusingthe
Spektrum DSM2 module, set the
rudder servo reversing opposite to
current setting.
