EN Model Assembly Continued Cannons, Guns, and Pitot Tube Installation 1. Install the cannons, guns and pitot tube on the wing by screwing them into their locations as shown. Disassemble in reverse order. Optional Drop Tank Installation 1. Remove the drop tank mount cover (A) from the mount by sliding the cover forward. 2. Slide the optional drop tank (B) into the rail (C) on the bottom of the fuselage. Check the Center of Gravity with the drop tank installed.
EN PNP Receiver Selection and Installation The recommended receiver for this aircraft is the Spektrum AR637T. If you choose to install a different receiver, ensure that it is at least a 6-channel full range receiver. Refer to the manual of your chosen receiver for correct installation and operation instructions. AR637T Installation 1. Slide the canopy latch (A) back and lift the back of the canopy to remove the canopy from the fuselage. 2.
EN Battery Installation and ESC Arming Battery Selection We recommend the 5000mAh 22.2V 6S 30C Li-Po battery (SPMX50006S30). Refer to the Optional Parts List for other recommended batteries. If using a battery other than those listed, the battery should be within the range of capacity, dimensions and weight of the Spektrum Smart Li-Po battery packs to fit in the fuselage. Be sure the model balances at the recommended CG. A 1. Lower the throttle to the lowest settings.
EN Control Surface Centering and Adjusting a Ball Link IMPORTANT: Perform the Control Direction Test before performing control surface centering. While SAFE is inactive, mechanically center the control surfaces. IMPORTANT: Correct operation of the SAFE system requires sub-trim and trim at 0. After binding a transmitter to the airplanes receiver, set the trims and subtrims to 0, ensure the servo arms are in the correct positions, then adjust the linkages to center the control surfaces.
EN Binding General Binding Tips • The included receiver has been specifically programmed for operation of this aircraft. Refer to the receiver manual for correct setup if the receiver is replaced. • Keep away from large metal objects while binding. • Do not point the transmitter’s antenna directly at the receiver while binding. • The orange LED on the receiver will flash rapidly when the receiver enters bind mode.
EN SAFE® Select Switch Designation Once SAFE Select is enabled, you can choose to fly in SAFE mode full-time, or assign a switch. Any switch on any channel between 5 and 9 can be used on your transmitter. Assigning a Switch TIP: If model has a reversing ESC feature, aux2 is not available for safe select. 2. Power on the aircraft. If the aircraft is bound with SAFE Select disabled, the aircraft will be in AS3X mode exclusively.
EN Control Direction Test Switch on the transmitter and connect the battery. Use the transmitter to operate the aileron, elevator and rudder controls. EN AS3X Control Direction Test Aircraft movement This test ensures that the AS3X® control system is functioning properly. Assemble the aircraft and bind your transmitter to the receiver before performing this test. AS3X Reaction CAUTION: Keep all body parts, hair and loose clothing away from a moving propeller, as these items could become entangled. 2. Move the entire aircraft as shown and ensure the control surfaces move in the direction indicated in the graphic.
EN Flying Tips and Repairs Consult local laws and ordinances before choosing a flying location. Range Check your Radio System Before you fly, range check the radio system. Refer to your specific transmitter instruction manual for range test information. Oscillation Once on the ground, avoid sharp turns until the plane has slowed enough to prevent scraping the wingtips. WARNING: Always decrease throttle at propeller strike. NOTICE: If a crash is imminent, reduce the throttle and trim fully.
EN Post Flight 1 Disconnect the flight battery from the ESC (Required for Safety and battery life). 2 Power OFF the transmitter. 3 Remove the flight battery from the aircraft. 4 Recharge the flight battery. 5 Repair or replace all damaged parts. 6 Store the flight battery apart from the aircraft and monitor the battery charge. 7 Make note of the flight conditions and flight plan results, planning for future flights.

FR Installation de la batterie et armement du contrôleur Choix de la batterie A Nous recommandons d’utiliser la batterie au Li-Po 5 000 mAh 22,2 V 6S 30C (SPMX50006S30). Si vous utilisez une autre batterie que celles indiquées, elle doit être dans la même gamme de capacité, de dimensions et de poids que les packs de batteries au Li-Po Spektrum Smart pour s’insérer dans le fuselage.
FR Centrage des gouvernes et réglage des tringleries IMPORTANT: Effectuez un test de direction des gouvernes avant de centrer les gouvernes. Centrez mécaniquement les gouvernes pendant que l’AS3X est inactif (avant d’augmenter les gaz). IMPORTANT: Pour un fonctionnement optimal de l’AS3X, les sub-trims et les trims doivent être à 0.
FR Affectation Conseils généraux pour l’affectation • Le récepteur inclus a été spécifiquement programmé pour être utilisé avec cet appareil. Reportez-vous au manuel du récepteur pour la configuration appropriée en cas de remplacement de celui-ci. • Éloignez-vous des larges objets métalliques lors de l’affectation. • Ne pointez pas l’antenne de l’émetteur directement en direction du récepteur lors de l’affectation.

IT Scelta e installazione della ricevente per la versione PNP Il ricevitore consigliato per questo aeromodello è lo Spektrum AR637T. Se si sceglie di installare un ricevitore diverso, assicurarsi che si tratti di un modello a piena portata con almeno 6 canali. IT Installare la batteria e armare l’ESC Scelta della batteria A Noi consigliamo una batteria Li-Po 5000 mAh 22,2V 6S 30C (SPMX50006S30). Consultare l’elenco parti opzionali per le altre batterie consigliate. In caso di utilizzo di una batteria diversa da quelle elencate, per consentirne l’alloggiamento in fusoliera, questa deve capacità, peso e dimensioni uguali a quelle della batteria Spektrum Smart Li-Po consigliata. Verificare anche che il baricentro (CG) si trovi nel punto indicato. 1.
IT Centraggio delle superfici mobili IMPORTANTE: prima di controllare il centraggio bisogna eseguire un test sulla direzione dei movimenti. Mentre l’AS3X non è attivo (prima di avanzare il comando motore), bisogna centrare le superfici di controllo meccanicamente. IMPORTANTE: per un corretto funzionamento del sistema AS3X, i trim e i subtrim devono essere a zero.
IT Binding Suggerimenti generali per il binding • Il ricevitore incluso è stato programmato specificamente per questo aeromodello. In caso di sostituzione del ricevitore, consultare il manuale del ricevitore per impostarlo correttamente. • Tenersi a distanza da grandi oggetti metallici durante la connessione. • Non puntare l’antenna della trasmittente direttamente al ricevitore durante la connessione.
IT Assegnazione interruttore SAFE® Select Una volta abilitata la funzione SAFE Select, è possibile scegliere se volare in modalità SAFE non disinseribile, oppure assegnarne l’attivazione a un interruttore. È possibile assegnare la funzione a uno qualsiasi degli interruttori dei canali da 5 e 9. Assegnazione di un interruttore SUGGERIMENTO: se il modello ha una funzione ESC inversa, AUX2 non è disponibile per SAFE Select. 3.
IT Test di controllo della direzione Accendere la trasmittente e collegare la batteria. Usare la trasmittente per azionare i comandi di alettone, equilibratore e timone. Controllare il movimento delle superfici di controllo guardando il velivolo dal retro. Comando trasmittente Tisposta aereo Elevatore 1. Tirare verso di sé. Gli elevatori devono spostarsi verso l’alto, causando il beccheggio verso l’alto del velivolo. 2. Spingere lo stick dell’elevatore in avanti.
IT Verificare il verso dei controlli AS3X Questa prova serve per assicurarsi che il sistema AS3X funzioni correttamente. Prima di fare questa prova, montare l’aereo e connettere (bind) la trasmittente con la ricevente. Movimenti dell’aereo Reazione AS3X ATTENZIONE: tenere parti del corpo, capelli e lembi di vestiario non aderente lontani dall’elica, per evitare che possano impigliarsi.

Prova di portata del radiocomando Prima di andare in volo è necessario fare una prova di portata del radiocomando. Per maggiori informazioni si faccia riferimento al manuale del trasmettitore. Oscillazioni Quando il sistema AS3X è attivo (dopo aver portato in avanti il comando motore per la prima volta), si vedranno le superfici di controllo reagire ai movimenti dell’aereo.
IT Dopo il volo 1 Scollegare la batteria di volo dal controllo elettronico di velocità (ESC) 5 Riparare o sostituire tutti i componenti danneggiati.
