10. BATTERY AND CHARGER
Each scooter is equipped with a battery and a charger. Please do not use batteries or
chargers from other manufacturers, as the scooter, the battery, or the charger may be
damaged. In this case, our company will not be responsible for the damages. Further-
more, each model has a dedicated charger, as detailed in the product specication
sheet. Please do not use a charger from another model!
The battery
On the scooter’s rst use, the battery should be fully charged. A new battery requires
at least 3 charging cycles to become fully functional. The battery can be charged
at any level, but you should try to keep it fully charged as much as possible. Avoid
travelling with a battery level below 50%, to make sure you have enough power for
the return trip.
WARNING!
For the purposes of recharging the battery, only use the charger that came with
your scooter.
When you do not use the scooter for extended periods of time, please charge the
battery every three months to keep it in optimal operating conditions and to extend
its life.
This unit contains batteries that can only be replaced by qualied personnel The
battery must be removed from the scooter before it is scrapped; The scooter must be
disconnected from the supply mains when removing the battery; The battery is to be
disposed of safely
Charger
The scooter comes with a dedicated charger that has a charging protection func-
tion: when the battery is 100% charged, the charger will automatically stop charging.
Diving, collisions and other abnormal factors will damage the charger, which is not
covered by the warranty.
Charging instructions
First connect the charger to the socket, then open the rubber charging port cover
and insert the charger’s plug into the scooter’s charging port. Note: The scooter is
charging when the power light is red and the power light turns green when the battery
is fully charged.
Close the charging port cover when not charging the scooter. Be careful not to use the
charger outdoors under unfavorable meteorological conditions (sleet / rain / snow).
