Search for a Record in a Private Directory List
The screen displays the first six records in a list.
Condition:
You are already in the Private directory.
Step Action Result
1.
Choose the list:
Press The desired list icon
2.
Optional:
Press
Or
To show the next or
previous pages or records
The display shows the names and
numbers
3.
Open the record:
Press
Inside the Name field with
the stylus
The display shows the details of
the record.
You can:
• Call the party
• Edit the record
• Delete the record
• Store another record
Search by Name in the Private Directory
Condition:
You are already in the Private directory:
Step Action Result
1. Press The alphabetic keypad screen
opens
2. Enter the first letter or
letters of the party's name
As you enter each letter, the
flashing number field under
"Name?" indicates how many
entries have been found to match
your search.
If only one record is found, the
screen displays the record
When two or more records are
found, the screen displays the list
of names
