MSDS- Page 2 of 6 Ingestion: Lead Compounds may cause abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and severe cramping. Acute ingesting should be treated by physician. SECTION 4 - FIRST AID MEASURES Emergency and First Aid Procedures: Contact with internal components if battery is opened/ broken. Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Give oxygen or artificial respiration if needed. Get immediate medical attention. Eye Contact: Flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, hold eyelids open.

In the event of a battery rupture, prevent skin contact and collect all released material in a plastic lined metal container. Prevent spill from entering drinking water supplies or streams. Any product recovery or disposal must comply with local, state, federal, international or country specific regulations.

Other Protective Clothing or Equipment: Protective clothing is required where repeated or prolonged skin contact may occur. Work/Hygienic Practices: Remove jewelry, rings, watches and any other metallic objects while working on batteries. All tools should insulate to avoid the possibility of shorting connections. DO NOT lay tools on top of battery.
